Mr. Ballif joined the firm in November 2007 and is a member of the firm's Litigation Section. Prior to joining Durham Jones & Pinegar, Mr. Ballif practiced law for twenty-one years in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a shareholder with the Nevada firm of Jones Vargas from 1996 to 2007, where he was Co-Chair of the firm's Litigation Section and a member of the firm's Board of Directors. His practice concentrates on general civil litigation, including disputes involving contracts, business torts, corporate governance, partnership and limited liability company dissolution, real estate, franchising, intellectual property, trade secret, construction, and election law. Mr. Ballif maintains an "AV" rating with Martindale/Hubbell, which is the highest rating awarded to attorneys for professional competence and ethics.
